Sustainable Seas Expeditions
The Sustainable Seas Expeditions was a partnership between the National Geographic Society and the U.S. National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to explore deep-water areas in the United States, Mexico, American Samoa and Belize. Led by Marine scientist and National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Dr. Sylvia Earle, Kip and other scientist used one-person submersibles called DeepWorkers, to dive and explore new frontiers. As the Expedition photographer, Kip documented daily operations, scientific discoveries, events and participated in hundreds of hours diving during a 4 year period.
